BankFirst taps Ron Allen to lead corporate lending and Correspondent Banking

COLUMBUS - BankFirst Financial Services has promoted Ron Allen to Executive Vice President/Corporate Lending and Correspondent Banking. In this role, Allen leads a newly formed division of the bank that is tasked with development of corporate lending and correspondent banking relationships within the BankFirst footprint and surrounding markets.
Allen joined BankFirst three years ago as President of BankFirst's Madison County locations. His career in the banking and financial services industry has spanned 35 years, with service at other financial institutions in senior corporate and commercial lending positions.
Allen is active in community and business affairs. He is President-elect of The Mustard Seed, a Christian community for adults with developmental disabilities in Brandon, MS. He is a Past Director and Chairman of the Board for the Mississippi Prepaid College Savings Plan and Past President of the Mississippi Agriculture Economics Association.
Allen holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State University. He also graduated from the National Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma and the Graduate School of Banking of the South, Louisiana State University.
He and his wife Debbie have four sons. They attend Pinelake Baptist Church in Brandon, MS.
