Man stabs pharmacist, attempts carjacking at Ridgeland Wal-Mart

A 28-year-old Brandon man stabbed a pharmacist, chugged a bottle of peroxide and attempted to carjack a vehicle at the Ridgeland Wal-Mart before being apprehended by authorities.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., Bobo entered the pharmacy department and purchased a pack of syringes, which he later used to stab a pharmacy technician working the counter, according to the RPD.
Police say his intent was to steal controlled narcotics.
The technician was treated for a minor injury after going to a local hospital by private vehicle.
After the botched robbery attempt, Bobo is said to have taken a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and chugging it before running outside. From there he approached a 55-year-old woman who was sitting in her vehicle int he parking lot.
"He forcibly removed her and attempted to leave the scene in her vehicle," police say. "Ridgeland PD officers were arriving at that point and Bobo went back into the Wal-Mart store."
Bobo was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center and later transported to the Madison County Detention Center.
He is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and unarmed carjacking and is being held without bond pending an initial appearance.
