Chicken Salad Chick is a restaurant franchise with dozens of locations throughout the southeastern U.S. A new location will open in Madison in the spring of 2020.
Madison will be welcoming Chicken Salad Chick next spring.

Set to open before the end of April 2020, the chain restaurant will be located in the same shopping center as the Sleep Number mattress store on Main Street near Lowe’s.

Chicken Salad Chick received approval from the Madison Mayor and Board of Aldermen last week.

The restaurant is just the latest commercial development by Ted Duckworth in an area which already includes the Sleep store, Academy Sports and Outdoors and Hobby Lobby.

“I think everyone is most definitely excited about the addition of Chicken Salad Chick,” Madison Director of Community Development Kianca Stringfellow said. “In terms of what is developing near Academy and our conversations with Mr. Duckworth, everything is developing as we hoped it would.”
