Mercedes-Benz of Jackson, which is currently building a new dealership in Ridgeland, recently partnered with Highland Village to become its official automotive partner.

Visitors to Highland Village will now see three permanent cars on display — two Mercedes-Benz and one Porsche.

“The timing of this partnership with Highland Village could not be better,” Trudy Higginbotham-Moody, co-owner and president of Mercedes-Benz of Jackson said.

She added that the “second showroom” will give up-close product exposure in Northeast Jackson.

“This partnership with Mercedes-Benz of Jackson is the first of its kind for Highland Village, and I cannot think of a better partner and ‘best of class’ brand to align with our property,” Highland Village General Manager Masa Liles said. “Mercedes-Benz is recognized globally by the automotive industry and consumers alike, including many of our customers, as a ‘gold standard’ brand. We are very excited and honored to be working with them.”

In addition to cars on permanent display, the two will coordinate special events and promotions at the shopping center.

The Ridgeland dealership is expected to be open in the fall. The 70,000 square foot facility sits on 10 acres on the corner of Steed Road and I-55.
