MADISON – Southern Pipe & Supply, a Mississippi Best Places to Work recipient, has opened a new location here. The company — which specializes in plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), industrial and water works supplies — was founded in 1938 in Meridian.

Recently crossing over the 100-branch mark, the new Madison branch marks the company’s second new branch opening of the year, and the third Southern Pipe location in the Jackson area. The Madison branch is open to homeowners, do-it-yourselfers, and contractors alike and can be found at 141B Enterprise Dr., just behind the Sunbelt Lighting showroom. Hours for this branch are 6:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

At this branch, homeowners and contractors enjoy Southern Pipe’s wide selection of products: big-ticket builder items including water heaters, Rheem HVAC equipment & septic tanks, as well as construction and remodel items like Delta faucets, toilets, and plumbing supplies from names including Charlotte, Mueller, Oatey and more. Aside from traditional “supply house” items like these, Southern Pipe also carries K-2 Coolers, Kamado Joe Grills, Cajun Fryers, and Orca cups & coolers.

Clay Taylor, one of the managers at this new location notes, “We are very excited to be a part of the growth that’s occurring here in Madison County. This new location allows us to better serve our customers in places like Madison, Flora and Canton, making servicing our North Jackson customers easier than ever.”

The company, still family-owned in Meridian almost 80 years after its founding, prides itself on great customer service and a family touch to business. “Professionalism and product knowledge are a great start, but we like to go a step beyond that. We call it the ‘Southern Way,’ and we hope you’ll come see the difference!”
