Jaynie Elizabeth Quave of Ocean Springs, became the bride of Daniel Joseph Payne, also of Ocean Springs on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 7 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Fr. Thomas White officiated. A reception immediately followed at the Biloxi Visitor Center.

Mrs. Payne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Terri) Schoemann of Ocean Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Leon (Sandi) Quave, Jr. of Biloxi. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Betty) Knight, Gautier, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon (Peggy) Quave of Biloxi.

She is a graduate of Mississippi State University where she received her degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Public Relations. She received her Master in Business Administration from William Carey in 2013. Jaynie works for Hancock Bank in Corporate Communications.

Mr. Payne is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Lisa) Payne of Madison. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jim (June) Blair of Quitman and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Max) Payne of Gulf Breeze, Fla.

He is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he received his Bachelor of Accountancy. Daniel received his Master in Business Administration from Delta State University in 2011. He is an internal auditor for Hancock Bank and is currently studying for the CPA exam.

The bride's Allure romantic and classic ball gown combined lace and English Net perfectly. The lace bodice featured a scoop neckline with cap sleeves while Swarovski crystals accented the waistline. She wore a cathedral lace veil. Her bouquet included green hydrangeas, green buttons, white Alstroemeria, and white roses.

Maid of Honor was Noel Quave, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jenny (Payne) Magown, sister of the groom, Darrah Harris, Hilary jones, Chelsea Danish, Christine (Lemon) Woods. Dresses were strapless, mulberry, chiffon floor length. Flower Girl was Juliette Quave, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Ethan Dier. Groomsmen were Richard Mattiace, Jr., Patrick Johnson, Conner Dier, Christopher Woods and Eric Hill. Ring Bearer was Joseph Quave, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Garrett Beard, step-brother of the bride, and Mathew Schoemann, step-brother of the bride. They wore black tuxedoes with black bow ties and suspenders. The groom wore a white bow tie. Boutonnieres were a single white rose.

The bridal party processed to "Canon in D" by Pachelbel. The bride entered to "Bridal Chorus" by Wagner. During the ceremony, Sarah Margaret Knight, the bride's cousin, of Ocean Springs read Genesis 2:18-24. Brad Baxter, cousin of the groom, of Clinton, read Colossians 3:12-17. Vocalists Rebecca Germany Stevens sang "Ave Maria."

The bride's cake was a four tier white buttercream icing almond cake with a white monogram topped with hydrangeas and white roses. The groom's cake was red velvet cake shaped like the Mississippi State logo. The buffet included shrimp and grits, hot crab dip and other local favorites.

The bridal couple danced to "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison and she and her father danced to "Father Daughter" by Paul Simon. The groom and his mother danced to "Days Like This" by Van Morrison. Guests favors included samplings from an old candy cart with candies like jelly beans, various chocolates and cheesecakes.

The couple's European honeymoon included London, Paris, and Rome. While in Rome, the couple met Pope Francis and had their marriage blessed.

The couple will reside in Ocean Springs.
