Jane D. Skelton, age 92, a resident of The Blake, Ridgeland, Mississippi, died on Monday, September 25, 2017.

She was a native of Cadaretta, Mississippi and lived in Eupora, Mississippi, for 32 years before moving to Jackson, Mississippi in 1975.  

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Rufus and Mary Doolittle, her first husband of 29 years, Malcolm L. Landrum, her second husband of 27 years, Billy J. Skelton, two sons, Terry Malcolm Landrum and George Sterling Landrum, and her siblings Earl Pryor Doolittle and Joy D. Ross.  She is survived by two sons, Ronald P. Landrum (Ann) and Craig N. Landrum (Patti), step-daughter Deborah Skelton, step-sons Dana W. Skelton (Sherry) and Robert H. Waller (Mary Helen), six grandchildren, Glenda L. Carroll, Lauren L. Cole (Larry Gene), Pryor Landrum (Michelle), Catherine L. Tillman (Caleb), Austin Landrum and Julia Landrum, five step-grandchildren, Laura Foster (Chad), Will Skelton (Corrinne), Jennifer Waller, Tara Waller Wooley (Terry) and Caroline Lester (David), eight great grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Mississippi State College for Women, now Mississippi University for Women, she was multi-talented as a gifted, self-taught artist, interior designer and gardener. She was a member of Northminster Baptist Church in later years.  

A funeral service was held at Parkway Funeral Home, Ridgeland, Mississippi  followed by burial at Eupora Cemetery, Eupora, Mississippi.  Memorials may be made to Northminster Baptist Church, French Camp Academy or a favorite charity.
