Canton Academy found their stride in week three posting a 45-14 win over Trinity Episcopal Day School (1-3) in Canton.

Quarterback Kade Pigg and wide receiver Patrick Sandridge took turns hammering in touchdowns on the ground and leading the team to 546 total yards.

Sandridge carried the bulk of the weight with 27 carries for 301 yards and three touchdowns. He recorded 58 yards for his longest run.

Pigg came in second with 13 carries for 108 yards and three touchdowns. Pigg’s longest carry came to 49 yards.

Though the throwing game only netted 54 yards on five total attempts with three completions, senior Joseph Mclean recorded two receptions for 43 yards the longest of which was 26 yards.

About twelve Panthers got in on just over 30 tackles total with senior Chad Wages and Sandridge leading the defense with five apiece. Sophomore Destry Johnson recorded three tackles and one sack on the night.
