MADISON - Construction will begin this week on a Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy and a Stein Mart along Grandview Boulevard developers announced today.
The new businesses will be located at "The Forum at Madison Grandview," a development that is already home to the Malco Theater and Ashley Home Furniture.
The stores are scheduled to open in November, in time for the holiday shopping season.
Developer Andrew Mattiace, president of Mattaice Properties, announced the new stores in a press release Thursday.
He also announced that the new stores will later be joined by a pet specialty retailer, junior anchor apparel store, a home store, cosmetics, books and shoes to create 250,000 square feet of retail space.
This will be followed by the development of a lifestyle component with 40,000 square feet of shop space. There is also a hotel site and restaurant out parcels. The Corner Bakery will open this fall.
