16th Annual Township Jazz Festival
The annual Township Jazz Festival is back in Ridgeland once again and takes place on April 1.
Over the past 15 years, the Jazz Festival has gained a reputation as one of the best family-friendly music events in the state, and the only music festival in the Jackson metro area dedicated exclusively to jazz.
The festival offers a full spectrum of jazz artists, from national recording artists to local up-and-coming professionals and students, in a safe, clean environment, all for free.
The event will start with Mayor Gene McGee giving an introduction, followed by performances from the Madison Central H.S. Jazz Band, The Mississippians Jazz Ensemble, MS National Guard 41st Army Band, The Raphael Semms Quartet, The Vamps, The Guitar Summit, The Russell Malone Quartet, and Southern Komfort.
