Auden Jubilee Simpkins

Auden Jubilee Simpkins of Ridgeland, Mississippi, 23, was suddenly and tragically killed on March 25, 2023. 

Jubilee was born on January 14, 2000, in Jackson, Mississippi. She was a 2018 graduate of French Camp Academy and was employed at Madison Preschool. 

She was baptized at Trinity Presbyterian Church on November 10, 2002, and was a communing member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church. 

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Lawrence J. Franck. 

She is survived by her parents Kelly D. and Angela F. Simpkins, her sister Kenan Smith (Layne) of Nashville, Tennessee, her brother Lockard Simpkins of Aurora, Colorado, maternal grandmother Dorothy W. Franck and her paternal grandparents Harry M. and Virginia Dale Simpkins, her aunts and uncles, many cousins and friends too many to count. 

Visitation and the celebration of the life of Jubilee will be at Redeemer Church, 640 East Northside Drive, Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation will be held Friday, April 7, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 8, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with the celebration immediately following.
