Carolyn Sistrunk Galloway

Carolyn Sistrunk Galloway, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 15, 2022. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Katherine Winfield Harris and Willie D. Sistrunk; sisters, Jo Bennett and Nelda Chesney, and her grandson, Hunter Smith. 

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Hervey “Bubba” Galloway; her brother, Wilson Sistrunk (Nell); her daughter, Kimberly Hearn (Russell); her son, Michael Smith (Cissy); her stepsons, Chuck Galloway (Karen), Bill Galloway (Robin), Andy Galloway (Hope); eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

Services were held at First Baptist Church of Canton on July 18, 2022. 

Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Hospital or First Baptist Church, Canton, preschool/ children’s ministry.
