Chapel of the Cross First Annual Concert Series: The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet
Chapel of the Cross is closing out its first annual concert series with The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet.
The qunitet is treating the crowd to ‘A Brass Extravaganza’ on April 30th.
Thousands of Mississippians enjoy Mississippi Symphony Orchestra performances each year. Presenters may choose the Brass Quintet, Woodwind Quintet, String Quartet, Chamber Orchestra or full Orchestra. Programs can be designed from a large repertoire of classical and contemporary music, and popular Broadway tunes. Indoor and outdoor concerts are possible. The three small ensembles also do school visits called “Informances,” which are highly interactive and last about 40 minutes.
The concerts are funded by Friends of Music of the Chapel of the Cross, and there will be no admissions fee for any of the events. There will also be a reception held in the parish hall after every concert in this series.
