Mize man wanted in Arkansas arrested in R'land
RIDGELAND- A Mize man wanted in Arkansas awaits extradition after he was arrested here for violating his parole, authorities said.
According to Lt. Brett Bertucci, Ridgeland Police Officers arrested Bobby Jack White, 42, of Mize on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at approximately 10:07 p.m. on Centre Street.
RPD officers identified White as a suspicious person and made contact with him near the Goodwill Store.
Officers identified White and soon determined he was wanted with an active arrest warrant through the State of Arkansas for Parole Violation related to an armed robbery conviction, Bertucci said.
White was arrested by Ridgeland Police Officers and transported to the Madison County Detention Center where he remains pending extradition to Arkansas, Bertucci said.
