Nick was born in Stuttgart, Germany on October 4, 1947 to Lillian and Gordon Clark. He attended Provine High School. He also attended the University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi State. He joined the Army during the Vietnam era. He became a Ranger. He was an experienced HALO paratrooper. He left honorably with the rank of Lieutenant.

Nick married his high school sweetheart Linda Polk Clark on August 6, 1995. Together they shared Stacy Turcotte Michael and William S. Turcotte, Jr.

Nick wore many hate on any given day. He was involved with the Hinds County Sheriff Department for 31 years. He was a member of the command staff. He served as the longest serving commander of the reserves. He received many awards during his tenure.

He was owner/operator of Nick Clark Printing, Nick Clark auctions and Estate Sales. He was the Broker for Nick Clark Real Estate. He was a certified appraiser/ He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife Linda, his son Will and granddaughters Christen Michael and Madison Michael.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Stacy Michael.

He will be missed by many friends and the community at large.

Funeral services were held at Parkway Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Visitation was from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Celebration of Life services were at 4:00 pm.
