The City of Madison, in partnership with Bellamare Development announced today The Gallery — a transformative arts and entertainment district designed to elevate the quality of life for residents and families across Madison County.

Located off Galleria Parkway, The Gallery is a privately funded, mixed-use destination that blends entertainment, dining, retail, and office space in a thoughtfully designed community space. From family activities to local business opportunities, The Gallery is a long-awaited response to what Madison families have been asking for.

At the heart of the project is Spinners, a 120,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor family entertainment center featuring bowling, skating, games, and more—directly inspired by what Madison families have said they want most. “The Aldermen and I are excited to announce Madison’s newest children’s venue. Spinners will be opening its second facility, this one in Madison, highlighting skating, bowling, games and so much more. As always, Madison does it right the first time, and we are excited about this venue coming to our city.  Very soon we will see some very happy children,” said Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler.

“We are excited to open a second Spinners Family Entertainment Center in Madison, MS. As a Mississippi-based company, Spinners has always been about bringing families and friends together to make lasting memories. After meeting with the mayor and hearing her passion for the city and its families, we knew Madison was the perfect fit. Our new state-of-the-art facility will offer over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor fun, and we’re honored to share this vision with the mayor, the board of Aldermen and Bellamare Development,” said Jennifer and Terrence Lott, owners of Spinners.

As part of The Gallery development, Royal Street will feature French-inspired walkable architecture, lined with local restaurants, boutique retail, and upstairs office space. The focus is on supporting small businesses and creating an environment that feels both charming and modern.

The development is being designed and engineered by Mississippi-based partners, including WBA Architecture and MP Design Group, reinforcing Bellamare’s commitment to investing locally. “From day one, this has been a project built for Mississippi, by Mississippians,” said Chad Phillips, Madison native and Partner-Executive Director for Bellamare Development.. “We’re proud to work with local talent to bring this vision to life.”

“We at Bellamare Development have listened to the community, and we’re building what was asked for,” said Phillips, “Our mission at Bellamare Development, ‘Transforming communities one connection at a time,’ drives every project we undertake. The Gallery is about creating a space where families can make memories, entrepreneurs can grow, and our city can shine.”

Groundbreaking is expected by fall of 2025, with construction beginning shortly after. The project is privately funded, with no taxpayer dollars being used. The city and developers will continue to work in step as plans evolve and community feedback is incorporated.
