Week 6 High School Pick’em

One of the state’s biggest MHSAA against MAIS matchups highlights the Madison County slate this week, as MRA will host defending MHSAA 7A state champion Oak Grove this week.

Our guest picker this week is current Ole Miss and former MRA pitcher Brayden Jones. Jones was dominant in his time with the Patriots, being a multiple-time all-MAIS selection and posting a 0.91 ERA in his senior year, after not allowing an earned run in 72 innings as a junior. For Ole Miss, he was a part of the 2022 national title team and made the second most relief appearances last season for the Rebels compiling 26 strikeouts in 26 innings.
