Rosemary Rosa was the guest speaker for the April meeting of the Northbay Madison Garden Club.
She is President of the Moon Tree Foundation, an education non-profit 501 to honor her father’s legacy of tree seeds taken aboard the Apollo 14 mission in 1971.
She said that she was “Planting the seeds of Inspiration” and honoring a legacy of Apollo 14 Astronaut, Stu Roosa, by planting “moon trees” from seeds that voyaged to the moon and back in 1971.
She stated that their mission is to unite, inspire, and conserve.
