Yandell Road to be closed for 2 months

A portion of Yandell Road will close for over two months to replace two bridges.
The closure involves a stretch between Smith-Carr Road and North Old Canton Road.
“Please be advised that Yandell Road will be closed on Wednesday, May 29, to replace two bridges,” county spokesman Heath Hall announced on Tuesday..
According to Hall, Yandell Road will be closed for the duration of the project. The project is currently estimated to take as many as 70 days to complete.
The designated detour route will take drivers south down North Old Canton Road over to Clarkdell and back up to Yandell.
