Ruth Carroll Rigby

Ruth Carroll Rigby passed away February 18, 2023. She was born February 10, 1929 in Lundell, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Oscar and Lela Carroll and was raised in Walthall, MS.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Lela Carroll, her daughter Laura Rigby Duke, her granddaughter Lindsay Boggan, her brother Floyd Carroll and her sister Melba Tindle. Ruth is survived by her husband of seventy years, Bill Rigby, son Jim Rigby (Marae) of Madison, son Perry Rigby of Gluckstadt, grandchildren Kimberly Boggan, Erin Rigby Perry (Stampley), Jennifer Rigby Benedict (John), great-grandchildren Madisyn Sanford, Harper Perry, Emma Perry, Thomas Benedict and Will Benedict.A funeral service was held February 21, 2023 at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison.
