Mr. Donald Richard Partridge “Richard”, 85, passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 8, 2024, at his home in Jackson, Mississippi.  Richard was born in Omaha, Texas on February 14, 1939, and lived in Pittsburg, Texas for most of his early childhood.

On February 23rd, 2024, our beloved matriarch Lisa Williams Davis passed peacefully at Saint Catherine’s Village in Madison, Mississippi. 

Rebecca Sue Coward Moody (88 y/o) of Canton, MS from Scott County, MS, passed away on Feb 27, 2024 suffering from a variety of health issues, including congestive heart failure. 

Geneva Staires of Jackson and Madison, Mississippi passed away on January 17, 2024 in Montgomery, Alabama at the age of 90. 

Linda French Ezelle, 74, of Madison went to be with her Lord at home on February 9, 2024. 

Johnny Dee Dial, 90, died February 14, 2024, surrounded by his family at home. 

Dr. Glyn Roy Hilbun passed away peacefully on February 3rd at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi after a brief illness. 

Claude Shelby Cain, of Ridgeland, MS, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 8, 2024. 

Patricia Barrett Austin, 90, passed away on January 27, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Panama City, FL. 

Charles “Mike” Gaia, age 75, was born in Memphis, Tennessee and was the son of Louis and Mary Dimarco Gaia. Mike married Sheila Hicks in 1985 and they moved to Madison 26 years ago. 

Ramona Waters, 72, of Canton, MS passed away January 14, 2024 at St. Dominic Hospital.

Shelton Stanley “Stan” Sullivan, Jr., 60, passed away on January 14, 2024. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Sunday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. The service will be 2pm Sunday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at New Zion Cemetery.

Frederick William “Fred” Johnson Jr., age 82 of Ridgeland, MS passed away peacefully January 16, 2024 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. 

Margaret Beryl Cassell, 97, passed away peacefully in her sleep on 1/17/2024. 

William Thaddeus (Thad) McLaurin was born December 27, 1938, and died December 27, 2023, on his 85th birthday. 

Andrew B. Brown III, 73, of Flowood, died on December 31, 2023 at The Arbor in Ridgeland. 

Phil Reeves, 60, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at his residence in Canton.

Trina was born in Alexandria, Virginia on August 19, 1969 to Don and Joyce Fenton. She received her Associates degree in early childhood education from Wake Technical Community College.

It is with profound sadness that we report the passing of Carol Mercier Newman of Madison, MS on December 19, 2023.  Mrs. Newman was 85 years of age.  Carol was born on December 18, 1938, to Howard and Ruby Wilson Mercier of McComb, MS.  She enjoyed a successful career in nursing for 39 years in Metairie, LA and Jackson, MS.

Retired Circuit Judge William Alexander “Bill” Gowan, Jr. passed away in Madison, MS on December 20, 2023 following an accident.  He was 81 years old.
